The Disease and Therapeutic Response Modeling and Simulation Program in the=
 Division of Clinical Pharmacology, Indiana University School of Medicine, =
Indianapolis, Indiana, is seeking outstanding candidates for a two-year pos=
tdoctoral fellowship in pharmacometrics to support Alzheimer's disease drug=
 development efforts through the MODEL-AD and TREAT-AD programs. The candi=
date will also have the opportunity to participate in projects in other the=
rapeutic areas, including women's health, pediatrics, and oncology.

The postdoctoral fellow will join our highly individualized training progra=
m in quantitative pharmacology and pharmacometrics, including application o=
f non-linear mixed effects modeling, Bayesian modeling and Monte-Carlo Simu=
lation techniques, physiologically-based pharmacokinetic modeling, data min=
ing, machine learning, and quantitative systems pharmacology. Trainees will=
 benefit from interaction with the Division's T32 Clinical Pharmacology Fel=
lowship program, experts in clinical pharmacology, drug development, biosta=
tistics, computational biology, and bioinformatics. Candidates will develop=
 the critical skills necessary for participation in state-of-the-art pharma=
ceutical research.

Highly motivated, ambitious, and creative individuals with PharmD, MD, or P=
hD in pharmacology, systems biology, pharmacometrics, bioengineering, compu=
tational biology or related fields are encouraged to apply.

Applicants must have demonstrated experience and proficiency in pharmacokin=
etic modeling as well as a basic knowledge of statistics, biology, physiolo=
gy, pharmacology. Preference will be given to candidates with strong quanti=
tative skills and computational experience (GastroPlus, Simcyp, Nonmem, Mon=
olix, R, Matlab, etc.). A background in neuroscience is preferred. Excell=
ent spoken and written communication skills are a prerequisite. Doctorate o=
r Terminal degree required.
