Applications are invited for a position as pharmacodynamics modeling specia=
list at the Precision Oncology Center of the Department of Oncology at CHUV=
, Lausanne, Switzerland. The successful applicant will join a motivated and=
 unique multidisciplinary team of researchers working on data-centered prec=
ision oncology, including machine learning and image analysis approaches. T=
he work will be in close collaboration with clinicians and scientists at CH=
UV and the Merck Institute for Pharmacometrics, as part of a collaborative =
project called "Real-World Tumor Dynamics". The objective is to create phar=
macodynamics models for the effect of immunotherapeutic agents, based on tu=
mor measurements from semi-automated analysis of medical images (PET/CT/MRI=
), and on treatment schedules and other clinical covariates for retrospecti=
ve CHUV patients. This is one-year Post-doctoral position, but depending on=
 the level of expertise of the candidate, this could be combined as part of=
 a PhD program.

The candidate will have a recent PhD or at least a Master's degree in quant=
itative discipline like engineering, pharmacology, computational biology, a=
pplied mathematics, computer science, or a closely related field. The appli=
cant is expected to have qualifications, genuine interest, proficiency and =
hands-on experience in the following topics:

  * Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) modeling methods
  * Specialized Pharmacometrics software such as Monolix or NONMEM
  * Mathematical software such as R or Matlab

Knowledge on medical information systems including ability to perform SQL q=
ueries, as well as expertise in data science and programming in Python or s=
imilar are assets.

Proficiency in spoken and written English is mandatory. French is an advant=

The offered salary is competitive, defined according to the Canton de Vaud =
compensation grids.
