AD/Dir. role in bay area CA, Preclinical and Translational PK

Seeking a PhD level scientist with 5-12 years experience who is driven to u=
nderstand the PK and PD of novel drug candidates.
The successful individual for this role will be responsible for
investigating the pharmacokinetics, biodistribution, and PKPD relationships=
 of novel
therapeutics in preclinical models. They will then identify optimal candida=
tes for further development,
and for translating preclinical PKPD information to the clinic to ensure ap=
dose/regimen decisions. They will use state-of-the-art experimental and qua=
ntitative approaches. The
candidate will be working in close partnerships across various functions in=
Biology, Bioanalytical Sciences, Tox and safety, biostats, Biomarkers, Clin=
ical Pharmacology,
and Regulatory. The candidate will represent the
department on cross- functional project teams as a PKPD representative and =
present PKPD
results at cross- functional teams, department meetings, review committees,=
conferences. This role will provide the opportunity to lead teams and poten=
tially manage 1-2
direct reports.
Required: PhD in pharmacokinetics or related field with a Minimum of 5+ yea=
rs of relevant PKPD experience
and demonstrated impact on drug development and/or the PKPD scientific
Strong knowledge and experience in either oncology, immunology, and/or tumo=
immunology are highly desired.
Strong knowledge and experience in PK and PK/PD of large molecule therapeut=
(e.g., monoclonal antibodies, bispecifics, fusion proteins, antibody-drug c=
etc.) are highly desired. Working knowledge of PK/PD software (e.g., WinNon=
NONMEM, ADAPT II, SimBiology, etc) and the ability to analyze and criticall=
y assess
PK/PD data is essential.
