new role in PK/PD in the bay area

Hi All, I have a new role that is a mix of preclinical and clinical PK/PD. =

Scientist/SrScientist/Principal Scientist, PK/PD, Bay area, CA

  * Design, plan, monitor and conduct preclinical pharmacokinetic studies=
 to support drug candidate nomination and early preclinical drug developmen=
t activities in-house and at contract research organizations
  * Interpret preclinical pharmacokinetic data to inform the design of pr=
eclinical pharmacology and GLP toxicology studies
  * Interpret preclinical pharmacokinetic data to inform human dose proje=
ctions. Conduct or be accountable for PKPD modeling activities to estimate =
efficacious dose and exposure range in humans
  * Investigate the preclinical PKPD relationships of novel therapeutics
  * Serve on research project teams as preclinical pharmacokinetics repre=
  * Manage outsourcing of bioanalytical assay development for preclinical=
 toxicology studies
  * Draft pharmacokinetic and bioanalytical sections of regulatory docume=
  * Provide clinical PKPD (ie Clinical Pharmacology) support to project t=
eams, based on candidate interest
Required Experience:

  * MS or PhD degree in pharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics, pharmacology, or=
 related discipline
  * 3-8 years in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry in the area of precl=
inical drug discovery and/or development. Level commensurate with experienc=
  * Experience in the conduct, analysis and interpretation of in vivo pre=
clinical pharmacokinetic studies
  * Experience with large molecule (proteins and monoclonal antibody) pha=
rmacokinetics and drug development
  * Experience with PKPD model development and human dose projections pre=
  * Must be detail-oriented with strong documentation and organizational =
  * Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work in a matrix environme=
nt and develop relationships with key stakeholders
  * Excellent communication and presentation skills to efficiently relay =
information to project teams and other key stakeholders
  * Strong research background and interest in understanding PK data in t=
he context of complex biology
