If you really need to better understand the theory and methods of populatio=
n PK modeling using NONMEM, if you want to understand how to interpret NONM=
EM output, including error messages, and better discriminate between models=
, or if you just seek to secure the foundational knowledge to read and revi=
ew reports of population modeling, please plan to join us this fall at one =
of our two Introductory NONMEM workshop offerings! Seats are still availabl=
e, but be sure to secure your spot soon!

Mainz, Germany (Johannes Gutenberg University): Monday, September 23 - Wedn=
esday, September 25, 2019
Orlando, Florida, US (University of Florida, Lake Nona): Thursday, October =
17 - Saturday, October 19, 2019

The workshop includes lectures, hands-on exercises, and data reviews. The m=
aterial is structured to impart both the theoretical and practical aspects =
of the population approach and is versatile so that participants with diver=
se backgrounds and areas of expertise may benefit. No prior experience with=
 NONMEM is required or expected.

To ease the learning curve and ensure that participants are up and running =
with NONMEM very quickly, the [ | KIWIâ=
„˘ Pharmacometric Communication Platform  ] will be used in c=
onjunction with NONMEM. KIWI is a useful cloud-based pharmacometric communi=
cation platform that facilitates code writing, finding errors, comparing ou=
tput from different models, and generating point-and-click model diagnostic=

A detailed course description and registration information can be found at:=

The workshops will be taught by Jill Fiedler-Kelly and colleagues from Cogn=
igen Corporation. Jill is also an Adjunct Professor at the University at Bu=
ffalo and co-author of “Introduction to Population Pharmacokinetic/=
Pharmacodynamic Analysis with Nonlinear Mixed Effects Models” (John=
Wiley & Sons Inc., 2014) with Joel Owen.

Registration is limited, so please sign up soon!
We look forward to seeing you this fall :)
