Servier is developing drug candidate (small and large molecules) in 5 main =
therapeutic areas (Oncology, Cardiology, Diabetes, CNS and Immuno-Inflammat=
ion). Modelling activities at Servier start with drug candidate selection a=
t early stage to registration and post-registration including life cycle ma=

Servier has opening positions for pharmacometrician in early phase PKPD (fr=
om Research to phase 1 included) and late phase PKPD (from phase 2 to regis=
tration including life cycle management). The positions are open for scient=
ists with limited experience in modelling and simulation as well as Princip=
al Senior scientists (technical or strategic expert) with significant exper=
ience (>15 years). Role and responsibilities will be adapted in consequenc=

The candidate will be full-time dedicated to modelling activities to suppor=
t pre-clinical and clinical development programmes. The candidates will hav=
e strong relationships with other modellers in pharmacometrics (i.e. PBPK a=
nd early/late phase popPK & PKPD modelling) and stakeholders within and out=
side Servier (i.e. clinicians, pharmacologists, partners, CRO etc...).

Job description

The candidates will be responsible for:
* Defining the modelling strategy in collaboration with other p=
roject members.
* Study design, data analysis plan, modelling & simulation, and=
 to communicate outcomes and give recommendations.
* Presenting modelling activities to internal/external experts =
in modelling.

Candidates at senior level will also participate to:
* The improvement of modelling tools and methodological develop=
ment within the CentEx PK.
* Junior mentoring in pharmacometrics.
* The promotion of modelling activities within the Servier grou=

Skills and Experience

You hold a PhD in a relevant area (PKPD/PBPK modeling, Biological Sciences,=
 Pharmacology, Statistics, Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences or other re=
lated discipline). You are fluent in English, both orally and written, and =
have good communication and presentation skills. The pharmacometrics group =
at Servier is located in France (Suresnes near Paris and Orlans). Workin=
g knowledge of French is not a requirement.

The positions require a good knowledge of modelling software such as NONMEM=
 or MONOLIX, and visualisation tools (R, SAS).

You have an analytical mind-set and a strong desire to further develop and =
apply modelling and simulation in drug development. You appreciate working =
in teams of scientists with different backgrounds and the opportunity of ex=
panding your network at an international level.
