The Senior Scientist, Clinical Pharmacologist is responsible for the clinic=
al pharmacology and pharmacometric deliverable for clinical development ass=
ets from phase 1-III.

Job Description
The responsibility include to develop a clinical pharmacology plans and dos=
e selection and prediction using mathematical and statistical models to stu=
dy complex interactions between drug and patients, between biological syste=
ms and to understand disease progression and impact of patient stratificati=
on on disease progression. He/She contributes to evaluating various clinica=
l pharmacology and modeling strategies and building clinical pharmacology a=
nd pharmacometrics infrastructure. The Senior Scientist, clinical pharmacol=
ogy serve as Clinical Pharmacology Lead on programs with high quantitative =
intensity and will collaborate closely with Clinical Pharmacology on advanc=
ed pharmacology models. Under supervision drives the development and execut=
ion of the Quantitative Pharmacology and Pharmacometric Strategy of clinica=
l development teams. Also support regulatory responses related to clinical =
pharmacology and pharmacometrics. Performs advanced quantitative pharmacolo=
gy and pharmacometric analyses and activities within assigned programs to y=
ield high value PK/PD support for critical decisions and dose selection. In=
terprets and presents results and recommends appropriate actions. Develops =
and maintains strong knowledge of best regulatory practices, clinical pharm=
acology principles, PK/PD analysis methodology and drug development precede=
nt. Develops and maintains scientific awareness and presence in Quantitativ=
e Pharmacology and Pharmacometric Science, publishes manuscripts and poster=
s, presents at Scientific Conferences and other scientific forums.
Minimum of 3 years (PhD) or 5 years (MSc) of experience working as a clinic=
al pharmacologist, DMPK or pharmacometrician within pharmaceutical industry=
. Experience in developing advanced PK/PD models to aid in research and dev=
elopment decision making. Knowledge of Health Authority perspective on clin=
ical pharmacology and use of modeling and simulation.Strong English oral an=
d written communication skills. Employs a continuous improvement in knowled=
ge and practical understanding of clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics=
 principles and applies this knowledge in a program team setting.
PhD degree in clinical pharmacology, pharmacy, biomedical engineering, stat=
istics, applied mathematics, or a related field. A MSc degree with relevant=
 experience is also acceptable.
