Dear all,
Uppsala Pharmacometrics will give a 2.5-day course on Pharmacokinetic-Pharm=
acodynamic modeling of continuous and categorical data in NONMEM for interm=
ediate and advanced users from 4th to 6th of June, in Budapest, Hungary, as=
a satellite workshop before PAGE 2017.

The course presents up-to-date modeling strategies, techniques and implemen=
tations for the handling of PKPD information in population models. Disease =
progression, Placebo and PD models, for continuous, ordered categorical, co=
unt and time to event data will be discussed in addition to demonstrating a=
ppropriate model diagnostics for these type of models. The content is built=
on the extensive experience the course organizers have gained from PKPD an=
alyses performed in academia and industry. The course will consist of both =
lectures and hands-on computer exercises using NONMEM 7, PsN and Xpose 4. O=
n top of the information-rich content covered during the course days, the p=
articipants will be provided with a large library of NONMEM code as well as=
self-instructive material for further studies and exploration of PKPD exam=
ples in different disease areas.

A prerequisite for the course is basic experience with performing NONMEM an=
alyses.
