Error in 'finedata' utility program

Hi Nmusers,

I've tried to use the utility program 'finedata' to create a new data set w=
ith additional, non-observation, time points to be used for prediction purp=

It seemed to work fine at first, but then I realised that the values for DV=
 and MDV at the inserted data records differed from the default. Instead of=
 DV=. and MDV=1, the values were imputed using first observation carrie=
d backward. I struggled to figure out what was going wrong, and when I adde=
d MDV=1 to $FINEDATA I got the error message: 'DATA ITEM MDV COULD NOT BE=

In my original data set and model file TIME was data item number 10, DV was=
 data item 19, EVID data item 20, and MDV data item 21.

After reordering the columns so that the TIME, DV, EVID, and MDV data items=
 all were among the first 6 data items in the data set/$INPUT, everything w=
orks fine and the outputted data set looks as expected.

Is it possible to update this for future NONMEM versions, or at least inclu=
de a note about it in the help files to avoid confusion?

Apart from this, I can really recommend 'finedata'. It's a great utility pr=
ogram =)

Thanks a lot,
