Dear all,
Uppsala Pharmacometrics will give a 2.5-day course on Pharmacokinetic-Pharm=
acodynamic modeling of continuous and categorical data in NONMEM for interm=
ediate and advanced users from 4th to 6th of June, in Budapest, Hungary, as=
a satellite workshop before PAGE 2017. The course presents up-to-date mode=
ling strategies, techniques and implementations for the handling of PKPD in=
formation in population models. Disease progression, Placebo and PD models,=
for continuous, ordered categorical, count and time to event data will be =
discussed in addition to demonstrating appropriate model diagnostics for th=
ese type of models. The content is built on the extensive experience the co=
urse organizers have gained from PKPD analyses performed in academia and in=
dustry. The course will consist of both lectures and hands-on computer exer=
cises using NONMEM 7, PsN and Xpose 4. On top of the information-rich conte=
nt covered during the course days, the participants will be provided with a=
large library of NONMEM code as well as self-instructive material for furt=
her studies and exploration of PKPD examples in different disease areas.

A prerequisite for the course is basic experience with performing NONMEM an=
alyses.
